Not the reason. Kotsay is a terrible OF, especially in Center. I would have been happy with Gomez out there as he has swung the stick well lately and is exceptional on D. This is just a horrendous decision by Roenicke. He will cost the Crew at least 1 run in the field.
good call there. at least one in the field, and possibly one on the paths
