WINNAR...hard to imagine where this team would be if Mujica had flamed out as a closer like Boggs..

Rickie Weeks lines out to right fielder Carlos Beltran. Three out.

Why not?Medwicks Ghost wrote:The way this game has been going, I don't really envision a 1,2,3 inning. Do you?Swatcat27 wrote:let's go Edward

Jay never looked, but you're right on Oquendo. Both are at fault. It wouldn't have mattered what Oquendo did, though.jim wrote:I think that play earlier was on Oquendo. I know they said Jay didn't pick him up, but Oquendo was just standing there like a bump on a log as usual.BW23 wrote:Did Jay almost get thrown out on the basis again?
Look, I'm glad he seems to have figured something out at the plate, but he needs to run the bases better or it's all for naught.
And ditto what everyone said about Salas coming back in. No reason not to throw Rosenthal. Salas helped in the 7th, and he had a good night last night. Let him build on that.
I was talking about almost getting picked off 2nd in the 9th inning. I missed it, but I thought I heard it.

Suddenly, we're 5-4 in one run games.

Nice win with a subpar waino start and no contributions from the big bats.

Key moment: Shane Robinson turning a single into an extra base error thanks to Carlos Gomez in CF and then a heads up steal of third
