It was about the same thing when they beat Notre Dame. Wouldn't give an unqualified compliment to the other team. Any wonder why that guy failed with the egos of the NBA? At least he'll leave UK in flames. We should start a pool for when that happens.

I'll take the later rather than sooner. I'm guessing Kentucky is too big to fail/get rung up for infractions, from NCAA perspective. The school and fan base is all-in with whatever goes on.

I really enjoyed that game.

Hindsight is 20/20 and all that, but I thought Kentucky made a huge mistake by going into "milk the clock" mode only up 4 with 5 minutes to play. They had Wisconsin on the ropes and all the momentum and should have kept the foot on the gas. Slowing it down and making WI only have to defend 1 on 1 the last few seconds of the shot clock completely flipped the game.

My ideal Final Four would have been Sparty beating WI for the title, so I'm definitely hoping to see the Badgers beat Duke.

When Duke beat Wisconsin in December, Sam Dekker was still recovering from a sprained ankle, Traevon Jackson was point guard, and Tyus Jones had a great game for Duke driving to the basket (a problem all season as Jeron Pettaway, Dez Wells, DJ Newbill, Joseph Young and every other quick guard did the same). I hope Wisconsin has an answer tomorrow. They play better with Bronson Koenig at point guard but Jackson had 25 the first time.

"It was a great test and a really good Duke team. Just learn from it," Jackson said, "and the biggest thing is just make sure it doesn't happen again."

Ironically, a one loss SEC team is not in the title game.

I used to think when Bill Raftery says, "onions!" it was conveying the image of concentric circles as a ball went down the net, but it really refers to a shooter's gonads when he hits a clutch shot. My mistaken idea probably came from LSD.
