Jose, we've seen this year after year now where the Cardinals offense is utterly futile against guys they haven't seen before. There is a reason these guys are just coming up from AAA or making bullpen starts and yet we make them look like Cy Young or Bud Norris against STL. There's gotta be an explanation here. Every team relies on video, why are we so bad at adjusting when there's less of it? Has anyone pulled together the stats of STL vs rookie pitchers compared to the rest of the league?

I need to go over the stats. I don't know if the Cardinals are any worse than other teams against young pitchers. Keep in mind, however, that hitters usually improve against pitchers the more times they get a look against them.

I was at a Cards game a few weeks back and his parents were sitting behind me, he came down and visited for a couple innings....I wanted to mention the disdain this board feels towards him, but I refrained.

I’m sure he’s nice people. He should just stick to acting though.
