I thought Nova and Duke would cakewalk to the Elite 8. Oops.

Don't say this too often, but the ACC may have been overrated this year. UNC only ACC team left.

Underwood seems like he's a better Xs and Os coach than Martin, although with a much shorter track record and really none at all in the Power 5. Martin would have the edge in recruiting IMO.
They're both good hires, really. I'd be a little concerned about Underwood's lack of track record if I was an Illini fan. And as a Mizzou fan, I am slightly concerned about Cuonzo's limited ceiling thus far. But both coaches elevate their respective programs (Cuonzo dramatically so because of how bad things have gotten at Mizzou) and both seem like good fits in their new homes. Both also seem like they offer very direct routes back to respectability.

My bracket was hot garbage this year. I only got 9 out of the sweet 16, and I've already lost two of my Final Four (Nova and Louisville).

I went 8/16 and lost my national champ with Nova.

Is it just me or has this tournament been kinda meh, at least by tourney standards? It's gonna sound extremely spoiled, and it is, but we haven't had a buzzer beater, and we really didn't even get a Cinderella (the lowest seed to advance was a 12 that was a Vegas favorite.) The lowest seed to advance to the Sweet 16 is Xavier, who was a 2 seed a year ago. The only team from outside a Power Conference (in basketball) to advance to the second weekend is 1 seed Gonzaga.

I agree. My Hog fandom aside, an Arkansas win over UNC would've really been something and shook up some brackets. UCLA v UK should be must see TV. Their game earlier in the year was great.

That game was close but still didn't seem like it was good. Refs have been awful throughout most of the tourney though, and I think that's a contributing factor.

My East bracket has been destroyed, but I'm in 3rd place in my office pool and have a decent path for a win w/ 3 out of my final 4 still alive.

Kind of crazy really, that ratings are up 30% or something, with no real compelling games.
Some say it is the colder weather.

Do you STILL believe in global warming?
