I have to admit I've become an "AI Tech Bro". The technology terrifies me, but ITS SO MUCH FUN. I totally get why people are annoyed and exhausted by it, but for me It's shaping up to be one of the most interesting tech cycles I've ever experienced in my lifetime. I've become a Gemini power user. A few things I've recently done:

-Vibe coded functional AI powered letterboxed movie recommendation website
-Useful deep personalized financial analysts w custom a dashboard
-Implemented an Open Claw personal agent named Sebastian

I think our lives will be very different in 10 years.

Perhaps I'll look into Sebastian creating an account on here. I'm sure he'd like to meet you all.

Things are getting weird.

It's funny - the more I use it the more I think these guys are full of [expletive] that it's going to replace a bunch of people. Not that there aren't specific groups of people it's completely endangering - some coders, freelance artists, graphic designers, stock photographers - but I can't think of one person at my office it could adequately replace.

Just for myself, my workload has expanded because I'm able to do a lot more now without requiring time and training we couldn't have afforded and I didn't have time for. Or outsourcing we couldn't justify. Basically a lot of stuff has gone from "maybe one day" to "I can do that within a week or so".

Say more about this one - you mean replacing or mimicking letterboxd, or using it to feed into something else?

I've been playing with ChatGPT some. I'm far from an advanced user but it has been pretty damn helpful with some business ideas, fleshing out some thoughts, and planning trips.

Yeah I use ChatGPT a ton nowadays. I do feel a little guilty about it, but damn it's helpful in a lot of areas (and entertaining).

This is one of my biggest issues with this and it is exhausting. People will talk about something like everyone has been exposed to it and understands what it means.
