Gus dies by the end of the season. The cartel will be a palpable threat through next season, but the DEA gets him in the end. Walt gets off too easy if the cartel murders him.

Since the show's overall theme as stated by Vince Gilligan has always been the descent of a good man into evil, Walt will more than likely have the opportunity to become the new boss when Gus dies.

Great. Another story retread. Tough black cop hates Dexter. Next.
When will they bring back another Lila? At least she was hot.
It's not like they "took away" that character either since they just replaced Doakes with Quinn.

There needs to never ever be another Lila in the history of television. Every episode that did not end with Dexter cutting her into pieces was a huge disappointment.

I don't see how Walt would position himself for that. I get the feeling the cartel would rather them all be gone and just have the territory themselves. I don't think Mike would end up taking orders from Walt either, seems to have a fair amount of distaste for him.

But I definitely agree it will be Walt's descent in to evil. Maybe have to get his hands dirty? A him or me, backed in to a corner against Gus? Maybe Jesse? Maybe even Hank? There will be blood on Walter's hands. This season I'd say.

I think Walt is irredeemable at this point. He's already killed at least two people, IIRC, so his hands have been dirty for awhile, but now he's becoming a megalomaniac, which in a way has always been his tragic flaw. He's always taken Jesse and Skyler for granted, neglecting their emotional needs until it gets him in trouble, then doing something desperate, dangerous, and manipulative to try and get them back. Now he's losing them both again. But this time there's much more in play so he's going to have less ability to save his skin. I think Walt ultimately ends up dead having lost just about all audience sympathy, or survives, but at the cost of at least one of Jesse, Skyler, or Junior's lives.

I wish Wendy the Meth-Addicted Prostitute would get her own Breaking Bad spinoff.

I'm trying to get through season 4 of Dexter but I can't get over how truly awful Deb is as an actor and character in general.

I'll be my usual broken record on this subject and say she's the best actor on the show.

Yeah, she's just so damn bad. I would probably have never made it far into the show at all because of her, but she's just so god damn perfectly physically 'my type' that it's absurd.

She's definitely on a weird list of some of my most hated characters ever, who also happen to be super, super naked time awesome.

Her 'acting' consists of bad fake crying, unnatural profanity (and I love profane girls, she just can't do it right), and awkward attempts at anger.

She's a lousy actor and she's the textbook example of my complaint about the Scooby Doo-quality writing on the show.

I suspect the Cartel wanted Walt, or as they know him, Heisenburg. $50 million, wow.
I suspect Gus is dead by the end of the season. Mike too. Jesse will hang on by a thread. Hank's pursuit leads to a dead Gus, and then the cartel. I wouldn't be supsrised if the series ends w/ Hank as the new druglord of the SW. I don't see how Jesse makes it.
