I'm having trouble with that link.

But let me guess: he'd like us to go to stltoday.com at midnight?

What we've been rumored to offer (which the validity has not been confirmed) and what he's asking are likely two very different things. And it's probably safe to say that the rumors are based on what we've been thought to have offered.

And you might just end up with an extra $19-20 million to spend.
yes, of course we're working on rumors. You're also completely speculating on some kind of slight Holliday would feel from us offering less than what he demands.

Again, if Holliday is going to be a [expletive] over being offered $17+ just because it isn't the $20-22 Boras convinced him he could get I wish him good luck finding it elsewhere this offseason.

Might be worthwhile to stay up late Re: latest Holliday developments. To appear soon @STLtoday.com. Or buy Tuesday's paper. Either one fine.
Sorry, should have quoted in the original. Probably nothing more than we already (think) we know.

That Beltre deal makes me think there are no more FA dollars left out there. None.

The last time he pulled this crap, I asked him why he felt it neccesary to continue to do that for essentially non-stories..and he got snippy with me..

So this time I replied to him (on Twitter): Did he get a DUI?

I'm sure that will make him happy

Maybe LaRussa can teach Damon to play 3rd. He's kinda got that small infielder look to him.

This could just keep going back and forth. Holliday's a dick if he doesn't take what we offer him or what's been rumored to be offered him despite some thinking his actual value may be more? I think perhaps most of these discussions are best left until he actually signs with someone.
