My parents are going to the game as well. Wish I could go, but I have to drive the other direction to go back to school for finals. At least the game is primetime so I can watch it when I get to my apartment.

I've got a friend in law school at Wake Forrest who's also been a Mizzou fan since he was 9 or 10. He was the one who really got me into the team during those first Brad Smith years. I might try to convince him to start looking at roadtrip costs to the BCS championship game. If we pull off 2 wins and get there, I'll probably just ask for tickets and money for Christmas so I can afford to go. I hope my friend will consider going as well. It would not be nearly as fun without him.
This friend sounds like just about the coolest guy ever. I'm sure he would consider going to the BCS Championship Game if Mizzou made it there.
I hope so. He already coped out of going to the game this weekend because he had to "drive back to school for finals", or some crappy lame excuse. :P

I'll be driving out there with my buddy who will be taking pictures on the field. I'm not sure yet if we're going early enough to be there for Gameday. That would be awesome to be a part of, but I think the 8 hours between Gameday and kickoff might be a little much.

Is anyone still having trouble comprehending how close Mizzou really is?

Yes. Very much so. I just keep telling myself though that there is nobody like Jeremy Maclin on KU's side. And that there is no Chase Coffman or Tee Rucker. The defense has to step up though. Hopefully Pig Brown gives a really good "win one for the Gipper" speech.

I predict we win 41-3, forcing the computers to push us down to the #2 seed.
