Anyone here ever been to Nora's in Dogtown?

I just got back and I'm pretty impressed. I got... [expletive], I don't remember what it was called. It had applewood smoked pork loin, brie cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and- here's the kicker- apple sauce. The apple sauce was spread thin. And it might honestly have been apple butter. The menu said apple sauce but it was sweeter, more like apple butter.

The smokey pork loin and bacon combined with the sweet apple sauce/butter was a phenomenal combo.

It's heaven.
I am finally feasting on one of these, four years after hearing about it from this thread. And it rules.

It's amazing that I never made it to Legrands. I lived off the intersection of Hampton and Jamieson until I was 13, and am staying at my aunt's house as I usually do which is super close.

Alas I am leaving for KC in a couple of hours after meeting some friends for dinner. This is one of the few times I've been in town on my own and thus not doing family [expletive] the whole time - I came in for the Swans show at the Firebird.

You...you are on my bad list.

You missed out big-time. It was intense. By the time it ended I was utterly exhausted and all I did was stand front of the stage leaning against an amp. I dunno how those old guys didn't collapse into a pile at the end.

And holy [expletive] was it loud.

Somewhere in the Hampton/Chippewa area, there is a swath of downed trees.
