Your point that the Angels have the resources to stay a better team...uh, "resources" means money. And resources are no guarantee of success, either.

I agree this makes the Angels better on paper for the next few years. It will remain to be seen if this contract makes the Angels the better team 6+ years from now.

Maybe just when the Cards are in town...but then again the atmosphere of a AA game sure is enjoyable from a baseball fan perspective.
