Terrible, terrible decision on that punt at the end of the third quarter.

From what I have seen thus far this year, Missouri cannot keep up with the quickness of the SEC offenses

It was garbage time, but Berkstresser looked pretty good. The offensive line has certainly been a nightmare, but Franklin has to get better at throwing the ball. Moe and DGB have been nonfactors most of the year. I would go out of my way to get them both the ball a minimum of five times a game. Lucas has been really good but he is the only guy getting the ball on the outside.

They looked horrible today but drawing conclusions based on two games against top 10 teams is folly. And the SEC offenses haven't really been the problem.

The coaches do not seem to make adjustments.

None, whatsoever.
I think Mizzou's D has been pretty good so far.
Where is this high powered Mizzou offense we've grown accustomed too?
I know the line has issues, but...
Franklin can't run. So, don't call 20 QB runs a game! That's bad playcalling/coaching.
Franklin is scared to throw the ball more than 5 yards down field.
I'd play Corbin. Let him air it out on passing plays, and when you want to run the ball use Lawrence.

I'm hesitant to pass too much judgment because I'm not sure how much the offense is inhibited by Franklin's injury. Personally, I'd rather have 75% Franklin than 100% Berkstresser. I would like the running backs to have a greater emphasis in the offense though. I've read that most of Franklin's runs aren't reads and are simply fakes that will never go to the RB, which isn't necessarily bad, but I think you need more RB touches given what we've seen so far. Really though, given the circumstances(injured QB1, new QB2, massive OL injuries, #1 SOS in the nation), I'm not sure there's a whole lot of easy solutions.

5-3 going into November was always thought of as a reasonable result going into the season, and I don't see any reason it can't be that way now. Make it there, and hopefully you see improvement on the injury and OL experience front, and then the slew of tossup November games will decide how the season is remembered.

The once vaunted attach has led me to take the under on both of these...
Over/Under this weekend:
Missouri 24 pts
Missouri 300 yards offense (rushing + passing)

Mizzou almost always takes care of business against less talented teams. I expect them to play well.
