Huell blind picking the one ricin cigarette and Jesse putting everything together was a huuuuuge risk.

I'm sure Huell just replaced the whole pack rather than the one cig.

Full pack? Take a few out? I don't know any one, especially those who smoke as frequently as Jesse who don't always have a pretty good idea of how many cigs are in their pack.

It's not some huge plot hole (Walt's plan) that ruins it for me. And mostly just me hating to be wrong. I'll go so far as to say I'm glad it was Walt. I love the direction for it. The plan just seemed like too much of a gamble for Walt, though he has been known to be sloppy. I'll be curious how they explain all of that and how he actually got Saul/Huell to go along and the kid to eat the berries. And some other things like that.

I will say I found it a little odd how much he flipped from panic to 'Gus Like'. Kills three people, semi-indirectly then ices two guys point blank and cleans up without a hitch. Then he's nervous as hell talking to Jesse before basically bragging about it to his wife.

Listening to the Breaking Bad podcast, they apparently had been planning on the "ding BOOM!" moment since season 3, but wanted to keep Gus around. And they call it "ding BOOM!"- as in, Tio dings his bell and the whole room goes boom.

What a great finale. Excellent, excellent tv. Tempted to not even watch next year, because I don't know how it could get better. It could really end right there.

Some things I loved:
[SHOW]
Swapping the Aztek for a two-door Yaris--giant douche or turd sandwich? A montage scene to celebrate the victory, hearkening back to earlier/happier times. Wheelchair dude at the DEA--awesome scene. The music as Gus approached the nursing home. And just the sheer satisfaction of seeing Walt win (for now), repair his relationship (for now, at least) with Jesse, and the couple scenes to fortell trouble.

Not clicking on the spoilers in here takes every ounce of will power I have.

YEah withstand. I had to until now, since I didn't watch the finale until last night(Thanks Cardinals!).
[SHOW]
It was great all around.
Mike is absent through all this. Why? Where is he? We know his loyalties will be w/ Jesse, not the remnants of Gus' team, after what went down, but, Do we assume he's still a player?

The Walking Dead
[SHOW]
Awesome. Some intense scenes w/ the Herd and searching for the girl.
The gut check was awesome.
I was thinking about it, Rick is a unique main charcter, at least for me, and shows I watch.
The show basically centers on him, and his family and group. And he's just a good guy.
He's not the typical anti-hero that's become so popular on the best shows. He's not a bad guy you root for, like Tony Soprano, Walter White, Jax Teller, Nucky Thompson, Vic Mackey, Dexter Morgan, etc.
There's not too many just plain "good guys" on critically acclaimed TV anymore. It's kind of refreshing. I hope Rick remains that way. Don't spoil it for me you Walking Dead readers!

I should not have been eating pizza during the Breaking Bad finale.

What an incredible show.

This week's Sunny episode was the best one in a while. Chardee McDennis was just classic "gang screwing with each other" mayhem.
