You can't tell me that Matheny didnt think we'd have a better shot tonight, so he gave many regulars a rest today.

If by many regulars you mean two, then yeah, I guess so. And one of those two is playing so badly you'd rather see the team's worst hitting SP hit instead of him.

I'd expect as many regulars to be off tonight, too. This happens when teams play double headers.
