While, yes, looking at Ozuna, #Cardinals open to turning a righthanded-hitting OF into a lefthanded-hitting option if possible. They'd like to reduce bundle of outfielders on roster and, sure, add lefthanded hitter to lineup.
You know who is left handed? Not Ozuna. Or Donaldson.
Carlos Gonzalez.
Maybe I give them too much credit but I refuse to believe our front office is this dumb

If they're talking about a fourth outfielder to complement Ozuna-Fowler-Pham, then a lefty instead of Grichuk or Piscotty makes sense. If they're talking about a starter, they shouldn't care if brings a [expletive] table leg to the plate.

The back up outfield argument makes sense. They might flip Grichuk for a left-handed version of himself As our fourth or fifth outfielder to go with whoever survives from Bader and O’NeI’ll.

Ask the Rays about Corey Dickerson, IMO.

Actually... wonder if they might be targeting Kiermaier. Kiermaier, Longoria, and Colome.... that’s... thinking about it......... not going to happen. No way. Not even Kiermaier and Colome.

Everyone is just spitballing. We don’t know anything.
But these deals are going to hurt.
Yeah, just saying I don't like any of the offers grb is throwing out there.
Giving up too much.

What is your suggestion to improve the team?

Hey guys a marlins fan here. Well kinda former fan lol. Always admired Cardinals from afar since the days of Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds days. Anyways when you get Ozuna I’ll likely become a cards fan if y’all will accept me

.
Anyways you all will love Ozuna. He’s a leader and he’s very fun to watch. As much defensively as he is offensively. He’s got an absolute cannon and I love when teams try to score from 2b on a hit to l ft. Not happening.
On the trade front I just hope a fair deal gets done for botH sides. Hopefully not an overpay so the Cards can add more than just Ozuna and hopefully lot the fish get some
Useful pieces. (Can’t help The sentimental attachment)

Despite our current mediocrity, trading in Marlins fandom for the Cardinals is a huge upgrade.
