I envy anyone who's going to either of these games, honestly. It's always been a goal of mine to get to opening day for the Cardinals but so far I haven't been able to score tickets.

I'm sure I'll make it one of these years.

I've been to 7 playoff games and opening day to me rivals those playoff games in terms of excitement, fun, ceremonies, etc.

This is my 4th opening day in a row and as long as I'm breathing it's one game I will NOT miss in St. Louis no matter how far away I live..

For you first timers you will have SO much fun and don't miss a minute...this year will be even more special because of the championship
Balltilyafall4, your getting even more excited, if that's possible!
Take lots of pictures, enjoy every moment, and NEVER....EVER.....take that magnet down off of your fridge...it signifies your first ever opening day at Busch :)

Get there VERY early too....lots of stuff to take in by the courthouse and fountain....vendors, etc. and lots of Cardinals fans to talk to!
I plan on taking a camera and video camera if I have room. I'm staying at the Westin across the street. I'll be there very early. I'm arriving about 2 the day before and I also plan on attending the Blues game the night before, if I can. I will display that magnet for all my peeps who are Phillies fans(haha) to =P~ at! It will always be on the fridge.

Sad
You get to watch a moving picture film on the northside wall of Bubba's Ribs.
That is always a good time.
I know I'm looking forward to it.

There is nothing like Opening Day in St. Louis for Cardinal baseball. Nothing. It is practically a holiday. When they do it normally during the week (instead of this year on a Sunday), no one really works downtown, everyone wears red to work, everyone is down at Keiner Plaza.....it's fantastic!

I, however, will be watching the home opener from Buffalo Wild Wings.
Well it's not really a "phony" ring, we know it's fake. That's called a replica.
It's a fugazi.

I'll be there opening day, can't wait. I'll put my magent schedule up next to the last 3 I have here at work. I also have a, um, Cubs Magnet schedule, from Opening day at Wrigley Last year. Cards got swept, but it didn't spoil that one.

I'd want one of the replica rings.
