I sat upper deck for a cards cubs game last august. We were near a pole and it kinda sucked but it was cool. Anyways, it was the game that pujols nearly jacked the Slam to win it in the 8th. There were lead changes and it was a tight game. My cards frend and I(and a few behind us) were loud but not obnoxious yelling. And it was returned. Nothing harmful or out of control. Just some taunting at lead changes and what not. But again that wasn't the bleachers.RC21 wrote:In fairness, of all the times I've gone, I've never been there for a Cubs-Cards game. I've seen the Rockies, Dodgers, Yankees, and Pirates, but never the Cardinals. Keep that in the back of your head.GatewaySnayke wrote:Thanks.
I hear a bunch of stuff from people that are Cardinals fans and I think they get pretty biased.
I'd say it looked a lil dirty, but part of it was just old. Not like trash and crap every where. I remember a distinct smell (again probably just old) but it wasn't urine.
It's a good park, go and have a good time.

Yea. After that ball got hit all the Cubbies just slumped. They thought it was gone too. When they caught it after screaming they turned and just shrugged at me. As if to say '5 Feet either way'TabascoElvis wrote:That's the game I was at, vin. What shocked me most (this was 1st time in Wrigley) was that the crowd seemed pretty much 50/50 Cubs/Cards. Quite amazing to me, actually.vinsanity wrote:Anyways, it was the game that pujols nearly jacked the Slam to win it in the 8th.

A good run the last few years for the Cards and scalpers buying up tons of tickets and selling them to anyone with money seems to have kinda led to this.TabascoElvis wrote:That's the game I was at, vin.
