Cabrera strikes out swinging @ all three pitches by Wainwright. The 3rd time they faced one another on the afternoon. I like.

Back to Wainwright, 6 IP, 4 hits, 10 ground outs, 1 line out, 1 pop out and 6 K's. For the he is facing guys who will be in the minors in two weeks 4 of the 6 K's are Cabrerra(twice), Willingham and Uggla.

If Wainy proves to be a strong #2 that's great news for us. Wells has looked capable if he buys in to throwing strikes and keeping his pitch count reasonable to get through 6 innings. (Reyes as well)

Also, what's up with Bennett...he's suddenly a hitting machine the last few games!

He struck him out twice and got him to hit into a double play the other time.
