Cards win

Glavine is beatable. Over 40 and just hanging around till het gets 300 wins.
The Mets bullpen is not as strong as it was last year. Glavine has to go at least 7 innings or they will be in trouble
The Mets outfield defense is horrible. They have Beltran, but he has to cover the whole outfield with Alou and Green surrounding him. Alou and Green are lawn ornaments
Their defense on the right side of the infield is slow and old. Delgardo has the range of a Hummer with four flat tires and Valentin looks his age and slower than last year

I feel like there's not going to be a lot of offense tonight from either team.

Cards win 3-2. Carp goes 7 striking out 7, and Izzy slams the door shut in the ninth.

That would make my night. Izzy needs to start off on a good note.

I'd like to make a prediction, but I'm the eternal pessimist. I always assume that the worst will happen.

I love this pregame. It would be even better if I could actually see it.

Screw KSDK and MLB for not streaming this.

Bah, I'm sick, I don't get cable and there's a TV blackout for this game.

Carp sharp for the first inning...Kennedy gets some jitters out of the way early, and the season begins with a three up, three down for Carp.
