Carriker just tossed Matt Birk like a rag doll.

Edit- Brian Leonard looks really good. I know it's against the #2's, but he's a player.

Our backup defense looked very good against the Chiefs backup offense, and they also handled Larry Johnson well enough, considering.

Only a week and change to go...

FWIW, Hadley reports the Rams will announce the signing of Simeon Rice today. I don't know if Rice can be anything more than a 3rd down pass rusher, but he could be a darn good one in that limited role. Also, it's good to have another DE with James Hall's injury propensity.

Hadley also says the team is trying to bring Ernie Conwell back into the mix.

Both teams played like they wish they were somewhere else.

Thank heavens this pre-season foolishness is over.

Bring on the folks from the land of overly pretentious basketball fans!

Seriously. Preseason sucks. The first game I get to sit down and watch and the first words I hear are "All of the starters have the night off". Stupid pre-season. So glad it's over.

In that same announcement as two posts above this one, Hadley reports the team is actively trying to trade Fitzpatrick. If they succeed, Berlin will take over as the third stringer.
