Heart says "Bears", mind says "Packers" to meet the J-E-T-S in Dallas.

Packers and Steelers.

Packers are better than Bears. But game can still go either way because Bears are at home, and they're opportunistic with creating/capitializing the turnover/special teams/penalty breaks. That seems to be their trademark under Lovie Smith and is what happened in their first meeting this year.

I see no way the JETS can win.

Same on all counts.

"No way they can win" is a bit much, no? The Jets just went in to Foxboro and beat a team most considered the clear superbowl favorite, a team significantly better than the Steelers. I don't know if they will win, but I wouldn't bet against them right now, and saying they have basically no chance? Gotta disagree.

Of course it is a bit much. Jets beat them a few weeks ago in Pitt.

Its just one of those feelings one can get. The game against Ravens - screwing up royally then figuring it out to come back against the Ravens D. That game was a defensive slugfest, and they won it.

Jets are a hot/cold team. Patriots are a good team, but frankly they aren't nearly as talented as the Steeler team that Jets face this week. Patriots D got slapped around a lot this year, very young and learning. Kudos to Bellichek, Brady's hot hand, and the opportunistic for making themselves look better than they were. Steelers D is going to win this game.

How are the Pats better than the Steelers? I don't see better players on NE, that's for sure.
But you're right, the Jets could win.

Same here. Outside of Brady, is there a perennial Pro Bowler on the roster? It's not like they could've used Randy Moss or anything like the best receiver of a generation in that game. Some 4th round pick is just as good because Bill knows how to use those players.

Edit- Mary, is that really Sidney? If so, I'm sold on Green Bay. Felines with cheese attached to their heads are a winning omen.

The Pats have the best possession receivers in the league in Branch/Welker and the best TEs in Gronkowski/Hernandez/Crumpler. Their defense is mediocre/bad outside of McCourty and Wilfork and a few others. They're a good team, but what they accomplished this year is mostly a testament to Brady and Belichick's greatness. They were the de facto Super Bowl favorites because of their record but they were plenty vulnerable. Really any of the AFC teams could have conceivably made the Super Bowl except the Chiefs.

The Steelers have an ok offense and one of the best defenses in recent memory. I'll take the elite defense over good offense every time.
