You don't see many prospect swaps, and the good thing about SS prospects that hit is you can play them anywhere else and they'll be a plus defender as well.

Profar has a good chance of being ranked in the top 10-15 in next year's rankings. I doubt we'd be able to get him for Adams alone.

Profar is the best SS prospect in baseball for my money. Profar is several months younger than Harper, and hit like a crazy person and stay at SS. He'll most likely be top-10 for sure.

Ha fine. I'll trade Adam+ for Andrus. Or what about Sardinas?

that Rangers situation is interesting. They have Kinsler and Andrus for a while at short and 2nd. If Profar continues his development, you'd have to assume one will become trade bait at some point. I suppose they could manage Profar's development to coincide with Kinsler reaching his FA period and letting him go, though I really don't know Kinsler service time/contract situation.

Man, how cool would it be to have a 30-30 guy at 2B, with local ties no less? Never gonna happen though.

I'm guessing you'll settle for a 900 OPSing homegrown 3B for the next few years.

I was thinking Freese.

Freese is going to OPS 900? He better hurry up, he's just a few years away from his decline phase.
