I liked his comment about the perception of some folks that gay men are automatically locker room predators. It's definitely insulting, as it implies that all gay guys have a one-track mind and lack respect or will power. That's not how it works at all. I agree completely. I remember times when I was much younger (probably 12 years old) where I was paralyzed with fear thinking about how family/friends/society would reject me, so this kind of story is very indicative of how attitudes have changed tremendously in a pretty short amount of time. Yup. Along the same lines, I think a lot of the people taking the "Who cares? I don't need to know your sexuality!" stance are clinging to the last kinda sorta (but not really) politically correct way to voice their disapproval of homosexuality.
