The demographic is years away from dying. They should just ride that out.Freed Roger wrote:Other than major sports i.e. NFL - Today Show is probably the only reliable advertising thing they have left, with a demographic they like (shopping women). So it carefully attempts to cater to them. Maybe this is why it seems like I'm a stranger in strange land when its on.
Also I don't think the show is going away - but wondering where it's future viewers will come from. I can't think of anybody in my generation watching it regularly.

Wish I'd seen this earlier - can relate with the morning shows being on all last week at home.

They do put Hannibal on the air, which still amazes me.JL21 wrote:Other than the occasional NFL game, I can't remember the last time I watched anything on NBC. Last week, I DVR'ed the SNL Christmas special. And as I saw the ads and promos for the crap on that network, all I could think was, "Jesus, I'm glad I'm not in this target market."

I just stuck that in my Netflix queue today. I didn't realize it was NBC.ghostrunner wrote:They do put Hannibal on the air, which still amazes me.
It's a good thing I didn't know that before I committed to watching it, because I probably wouldn't have gone through with it if I had known it was an NBC show.
