What a weird game. Tosu looked dominate. Dominate. But total offense was something relatively close like 550 for tosu to 475 for Oregon. Slight edge to tosu but you'd think w 4 turnovers that edge would have been more than erased.

Puke

There are about 10-15 schools in the country that have no business being associated* with an ad like that, and Ohio St. is pretty high on that list.
*and yeah, I get that it's a Nike ad, and OSU had nothing to do with it. Still, it makes me want to vomit.

Great! I'll be waiting in Brigadoon for my color man Godot to go over how we'll set up the broadcasts.slide_into_first wrote:You can cover UAB football next season.

I wish I didn't see that ad. Takes away from a very impressive performance by Ohio StateJL21 wrote:Puke

Ohio State has the overall talent*, especially at offensive line where 2nd and 3rd stringers can step in and thrive. But still, Cardale Jones -pretty damn good.Jocephus wrote:so whats the deal with cardale jones? is this one of the best "stories"/accomplishments? was he highly touted? he was the 3rd stringer, essentially, eh?
*I think I mentioned this here - I sort of follow Ohio State defensive line for Tommy Schutt - who played at my nephew/niece's big Chicagoland school. He was ranked something like 5th best DL prospect out of HS, and a rotation starter as freshman for OSU, then had an injury setback as a Soph. Now, recovered as a junior, but that's all it took to have playing time taken over by someone like Joey Bosa (a 4th ranked DL prospect out of HS). Schutt hardly makes it on the field anymore.
Ohio State is loaded.
