I've really started to dislike the NFL recently, and this just gives me another reason to care even less about it.

I'm sure everyone won't see this as the NFL basically giving their guys the "ok" to do stupid [expletive] and have someone else take the fall for it and the NFL will bail them out (while ruining that fall guys life in the process)...but that's my take.

If that video had been up for the public to view all year, I'm very surprised this "fall guy" thing hadn't been mentioned a lot earlier. You'd think that anyone watching that would be pretty stunned by that info and share it with others.

If they had just said "have someone who will cover for your crimes" that's pretty bad, but the bigger problem is the "we'll get him out" of jail part. So does the NFL have a department that bails guys out of jail, whose only connection to the NFL is they are a player's buddy? Also, the open-ended "we'll get him out" comment begs the question..............How? Is it just bail money? Or will they lean on law enforment to be lenient too? Makes you wonder! Just the way it was said and presented comes off really, really bad. The NFL probably shouldn't even be bailing out their own players. Would your employer bail you out?

There are pushes to remove headers from youth soccer. Probably won't help our national team, but would lower those numbers significantly, presumably.

Or if not concussions, sub-concussive incidents and CTE risk.

As a youth, one of the first things they teach you when "heading" the ball is to hit it with your forehead and not the crown of your head, so as to reduce the potential for injury.

Of course, this was before head injuries became such a huge issue in sports.

Not really sure how much it reduces the risk, but i suppose it may a little.

Other than that, i feel like soccer is a relatively safe team sport. Sure, you have the random shots to the face with a foot, ball or elbow, but im kinda surprised to see those numbers.

I am too, but then there's the story of Taylor Twellman...so there must be some truth to it.

Go ahead and remove the headers from rec-league youth soccer, but leave it in place for the select/club level teams.
