Yep, Dave Gomes is a real guy! He has a Twitter account and everything...he and his brother Rob split the entry fee and won. Why they don't mention Rob is kinda weird.

A guy I went to college with (huge douchebag that nobody liked) is in one of those draft king commercials. He's won a trip and some poker tourney buy ins from what I understand.

I am thoroughly, tired of all the fanduel and draftkings ads deluge. I think I am now against legalized sports gambling simply to avoid a similar assault of promotion.

After seeing some numbers on how the top 100 players basically win 99% of the money while the remaining 20k or so win an average of 13 times per day, I wonder how long Draft Kings and Fan Duel will last before flaming out. The lure of quick money will bring people in for awhile but at some point that steady stream will stop and it will die right? Once the suckers, I mean new players, stop putting their money in the money has to dry up because I don't think the sharks will just keep taking money from each other. That's not as easy as taking it from a couple hundred new people in head to head games every day where they don't know what they're doing and the risk just gets too great if your opponent actually has a chance.
