BK. Chick-Fil-A I've never liked, and Taco Bell I would probably rank last. God damn it I just got sick thinking about how those tortilla wraps feel in your mouth.

Re: McDonald's
i'm starting my 5th year as a veg-head (well, technically in june-ish) so its been at least 4 years since i've eaten at one of these places. i dont think i've gone to any of these places even for a non-meat item during that span either. that said, wendys was definitely my preferred of the burger joints. i was also a fan of the taco bell, even though i KNEW every time i would have stomach issues the next day, didn't care. i think they had a meat and potato burrito, lather them in hot sauce...man i would dominate those.

Yeah, wendys and chick fil a are the only consistently good options. I'm not used to having a steak n shake around so i never really gave it much of a shot but i'll have to check it out. Hardee's barely makes the cutoff for me.

Hardee's is good if you want a heart attack. I actually don't eat it much, but it's good when I have it. I also enjoy BK, but it's very hit-and-miss.

Taco Bell is okay, but I wish there were more crappy tex mex fast food options. No idea why the Bell has such a stranglehold on the market.

Re: McDonald's
Last weekend I had a big mac for the first time in about 20 years. I enjoyed it more than I had expected. It tasted like my childhood.
The feels.

What does it say about me that I have never had any stomach issues after eating Taco Bell?

Re: McDonald's
Same. I know what they serve isn't real meat. In fact I don't know what it is. But it's delicious. For pure fast food, if it's available, I will choose Taco Bell* every time. Second is probably Wendy's.wart57 wrote:What does it say about me that I have never had any stomach issues after eating Taco Bell?
* Assuming they're able to take my order correctly. Lately every time I go to one and specify no sour cream, they put about a quart of that nasty [expletive] on there. I'll give a store a couple chances, but if they continually mess up my order, I'll find another one.

Re: McDonald's
Eat Rite is the best, although I don't know if that qualifies.
Steak-N-Shake I really like, except they must actually coach up crappy service because I don't know how else to explain that constant among those stores regardless of where you are at.
Wendy's used to be my favorite 30 years ago until they started putting all of the crap on the burgers. It used to be you got a single, double, or triple option and it was plain. You decided what you wanted. Now they put all sorts of crap on it that I have to pick and scrape off, and if you do order it special they screw it up. Now I get those little burgers because they don't have all of that crap on them, but I really would rather have a single.
Basically Wendy's just over-complicated the damn operation to the point where I don't like them any longer.
edit - Jack in the Box. Forgot about them. Bump Taco Bell up from last to next to last, insert that god foresaken joint at the bottom.
