My guess is that it really is about the video. That they told Mauk that even though it was old video the team couldn't handle more bad pr.

Mizzou recruiting class ranks 2d last in SEC ...but they aren't competing for national championships anyhow.
I'm still hopeful -they can be in the SEC east mix. Everyone is saying all the politics hurt the team. blah. they lost Pinkel. Mauk. big [expletive] deal. Just focus and play ball.
Who else are they losing from last year? Shouldn't the defense be good? And can the offense be any worse?
