I won't get on the road for another week or ten days and I think San Diego and Miami come first
You have to drive a semi in Miami?

Uh oh. [expletive] just got real.
It seems that way from what I've been told. Hopefully it will be only once. I probably can't end up there too many times in my first 90 days at which point I can consider moving to a regional route that would be only Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and the eastern half of Iowa. Or a dedicated route where I'm driving the same route every single week. We'll see how I like the over the road stuff first though. I'm just ready to get started.

Yesterday was just a gorgeous fall day. No clouds, temps in 60s/low 70s, low humidity. Every window in the house is open. Forecast is more of the same until Thursday. And the trees are slowing starting to turn.

I am ready for some cooler weather and crisp air. I'm done with this humidity.

I love spring and summer. I like fall but I know that brings winter which I hate.

First front of the year in Texas today, which should be a [expletive] holiday. It was 98 yesterday, but will only be 86 tomorrow. Golly gee.

It really should be. Nothing better than that first cool day.

KC had theirs this week. Lows in the 50s yesterday morning, today it was upper 40s in some places. This is my element.

it's always awesome when you wake up and the inside temp of the house is lower than the pre-set temp on thermostat

It got into the low 50s last night just south of St. Louis. The air feels great.
