I keep reading that "Tebow is not a good quarterback." No, he is not a good passer. There is a huge difference. People saying this might mean passer, but they need to start saying it.
(insert sample size disclaimer here)Tebow's ball protection is either evidence of leadership or simple probability, for throwing interceptions is really hard to do when you're handing off 50 times a game.
His # of attempts per interception beats out Rodgers, Brady, and Brees. Not bad for someone with supposedly terrible accuracy.
And then he completely dismisses the "He's handing it off 50 times a game" argument when he says things like "The QB didn't throw for 200 yards once [in the six game stretch]. While also conveniently dismissing his yards on the ground. His Yards per touch beats any quarterback in the league not named brady, rodgers, and brees.
And I don't buy the Vince Young argument... I don't think that needs explaining. Full of holes.
Other than that, I think the guy is spot on... but of course, is anyone really debating that the fervor over Tebow is because off-the-field things, and not on-the-field things?
Anyways, I don't know what point this guy's trying to make. I don't follow college football, but everything i've heard about Tebow from the minute he got drafted is "just wait until." Anti-Tebowers just seem to keep bumping back that "until" point.
Also, whoever said we might as well rename this the Tebow thread wasn't too far off. But in other NFL news...
lol philadelphia. How much longer does Reid have left?
