Are they over the moon for winning, or for escaping Kansas for a few days?

Can anyone who has a CBS sportsline bracket explain what "score", "correct", "best score", and "best correct" mean? I'm not getting it. I seem to be second overall in my work bracket, but the multiple categories are confusing.

My wild-ass guess would be that best score and best correct are how many possible points and possible correct picks you still have on the table (i.e. how well you can do if you picked everything right from here on out).

JL is right about the bests. Regular "score" is what you use to determine who is currently winning, "correct" is simply how many correct picks you have made. The difference is that some pools award more points for each correct pick as the rounds progress. A first round correct is worth one, second round correct is worth two, etc. In pools like that what you did on the first day doesn't really even matter. Pretty much getting the champion right is everything, or at least most of the final four.

We have a #1 seed getting bounced in the second round, #12, #13, #14 and #15 seeds winning their first round games, and a #15 going to the Sweet 16 for the first time ever. As Deadspin and others have noted, the seeding was not very good this year. Makes for a fun tournament, though.
