Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that the Yankees have Tigers right-hander Michael Fulmer and Diamondbacks left-hander Patrick Corbin on their radar.
If there's any team that could come up with the sort of package required to motivate the Tigers to move Fulmer, it's the Yankees. Corbin won't be nearly as costly via trade. He made $3.95 million via arbitration in 2017 and is due to become a free agent after 2018.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Rockies are "moving to try and finalize" an agreement with free agent reliever Bryan Shaw.
ESPN's Buster Olney has reported that other teams involved in the Shaw sweepstakes believe the 30-year-old right-hander already has an agreement in place, so this could reach the finish line rather quickly. Shaw is arguably the most durable and reliable relief pitcher on the free agent market this winter. He owns a 3.13 career ERA in parts of seven major league seasons.
