The other guy to do it played for the Arkansas Travelers who were the Cards’ AA team in 1998. Danny Mac mentioned his name but I forgot it.

Not Cards related but I got to see the minor league game this week at Field of Dreams. It was on MLB Network. We got see see two balls hit into the corn, something Cubs and Reds fans didn't get to see during their game. The Quad Cities team (Royals) won but they are in last place this year. Their pitcher (Champlain) should have gone 7 shutout innings but some miscommunication among fielders let a routine ball drop, and another guy dropped a foul pop up in the same inning. Jaun Carlos Negret had a HR and a double and hit two other balls to the warning track.

It was cool to see a game there for one game but it's not a great setup. Prices were MLB prices. A hat and t shirt with this games teams and date on it were $50 each. It is a really unique view though. We were sitting up high and could see hills and farmland for a long ways. A scene I've seen many times but not at a ballpark during a game. Coming through the corn to get to the stadium was kind of neat.. I'd prefer to go to regular minor league ballparks now that I've seen it though. Seats are cramped, bleachers and no concourse. No way to see the game unless you are seated.
