Boo, I just bought a jersey w/ 15 the other day.
you can buy a lettering kit for like $20 on ebay and take it somewhere to get changed, or you could just be 1 of the cool ppl that got a Matt Holliday jersey before it was the cool thing to do

Hopefully he will be the last Cardinal to wear that number.

anybody else notice that Boras had a Cardinals jacket on? I wonder if that was part of the contract.

The one I bought does have the All-Star Game patch, so I'll keep it as-is for his 2009 jersey, and get a #7 later.

Slow thoughts from my cell phone:

A) I don't think it's a stretch to imagine Boras pushing Holliday to a 1 year contract if he didn't get the right deal. "Matt, your contract year started poorly in Oakland, you showed your talent in StL, then you took a ball in the junk to help lose the Division Series. You sandwiched the good withe bad, people only remember the first and last thing you say/do. I say we take the 1/24 from Baltimore, you beat up the Sox and Yankees, and you get Tex money next year. Forget Tex money, people will be trying to get Holliday money." The his horns would recede and his eyes would stop spinning hypnotic spirals and Matt would do as his master bids.

B) 7 is a great number, let's hope they retire it when he leaves.

C) If you already have 15, you're too cool for school.

D) I am still excited about this signing.

E) this tookk too long to type.

I was unsuccessful in google search, in trying to find a definite list of Cardinals who wore # 7; off my memory, I can only think of Reggie Smith & Adam Kennedy; who else did?
