not a spring training pic.. but i had never seen this before and thought
it was pretty cool

"This was at the end of Busch Stadium's 40th year. Nearly everyone had left the stadium, and Fred Bird was closing the gate in the outfield. All of those baseball memories. It's a shot that embodies the spirit of St. Louis baseball."

That Fredbird pic is pretty cool. There was a shot of him drinking a soda and reading the newspaper in Sports Illustrated in 1987 that I really liked. There's something absurd about a guy in a giant Cardinals costume acting like he's living a regular life.
