Baroque is my favorite period. It's so clean. Bach is the best. I was out tonight standing in a river waving a stick and humming various Bach preludes. This one wast stuck in my head tonight:

The final movement to Erich Korngold's suite for two violins, cello, and piano left hand. The piano part was written for a pianist (Paul Wittgenstein--the brother of the philosopher Ludwig) whose right arm was amputated after he was wounded in WWI. Korngold is best known for his scores to Hollywood films, especially Errol Flynn epics.
