I'm pumped about "WWII in HD" on the History channel this week.

I've seen those commercials a few times but I don't really get what they're trying to say. It's not like they can take the existing film and enhance it that much.

Are we really supposed to get better image quality here or are they just misusing the HD descriptor?

I thought last night's Curb was great! Loved the whole Sienfeld part to it - quite a bit!!

A great line from a great episode. Sounds like something I'd have to cover up for a friend. Jeff is a real dirt ball this season. And I love it, cause we get Susy at her best.

The twist with Michael Richards being filmed as he berates Leon was hilarious. And almost as good was Larry dropping the p-bomb about a nine year old to his doctor.

Okay, so I tried to watch Curb this season. And while it did get a laugh out of me almost every episode, I simply couldn't get INTO it. I tried to watch as many episodes as I could to make sure that it wasn't just a streak of a couple bad ones, but all of them were just kind of "heh" funny. Leon is the funniest thing about the show to me.

A&E has greenlit seven episodes of “Bob Saget’s Strange Days,” an hour-long series in which Saget will engage the odder fringes of American society.
The quirky travelogue will place Saget with groups that include biker gangs, Amish teenagers, mail-order brides and survivalist cults.

Series, announced to be in the pilot stage at the May upfronts, is positioned as a self-immersion extension of Saget’s standup act that riffs on offbeat people and their lifestyles while ultimately trying to illuminate what drives their emotions and behavior.

That sounds like a gig that was specifically made for Bob Saget.

So, it's like "Insomniac" but replace Dave Attell with Bob Saget.

No thanks.
