The Cards are my team, I would have taken the 10 yr $225 mil deal to stay in St. Louis, because I am loyal to the club, he took more money, so I am mad at him.
Unless you are proud of the fact that you've worked harder and are better than everyone else at your craft, and you feel that even though you've been loyal, you're underappreciated and the team isn't loyal to you.
I thought we already established that I have a very low opinion of myself.
Wow, almost 6 years here and you people don't even know me!

Anyone that says we are a better team now then when Pujols was on the team is lying. We are not better.

Craig + $20M spent wisely could really help close the gap.

At least we won't have to watch Matt Adams play OF and make Chris Duncan look like Devon White.

No, not by a longshot.

And, it's going to sting for alot of the fanbase. I'm sure a ton of people are hoping for some sort of reactionary "sign fielder" or "trade for x" type move, but they'll have to understand that type of deal is not in the Cards FO DNA. They may likely "keep the powder dry" for a few years, not a few days.

It took me years to understand and even appreciate that approach, but it's worked out for them over the long haul. Honestly, this team as you see it may be about complete. They'll likely sign Furcal or another similar SS and maybe, just maybe, a Beltran for RF now that they are moving Berkman to 1b and Craig may be out for a couple of months.

That's about as high as you can expect for a move. The rest will be spare parts.

I'm ok with it. I'll have to be.

Meh, time to move on.

Glad I am a bigger fan of the team, and not of the specific players.

So who gets fielder? Has to be between the marlins, rangers, and nats right?
