One of my favorite pieces of music of all time. It was playing in the staging area before we walked out for our commencement ceremony in grad school, one of the happiest days of my life, and I'll always connect it to that day. I love hearing it in the spring and early summer.

If we are going with a Mozart run, this is one of my favorites if only because at one time I could play it well on the piano, and probably loved playing this more than any other piece I could play.

Staying with the Mozart theme, Amadeus is one of my all time favorite movies.

And he's one of, no I'd say he probably *IS*, my favorite composers. I don't always listen to non-Baroque music, but when I do I listen to Mozart.

Mozart horn concertos are key parts of the French horn repertoire, and no one was better than Dennis Brain. Even though this is a mono recording, Brain's performances are simply outstanding--not only for horn playing, but for interpreting Mozart.
