Iowa started a new tradition this season that has quickly become one of the coolest things in college football.
At the end of the first quarter of every game at Kinnick Stadium, Iowa fans wave to the children at nearby Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, which overlooks the field. On Saturday against Ohio State, Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer didn’t miss his chance to wave to the kids.
Other opposing teams participate in the tradition this season; Ohio State wasn’t the first. It’s a thing that’s hard not to get swept up in, I’d imagine, even when you are super focused on the game.
They were already ahead of them in the only rankings that matterCardsofSTL wrote:The Buckeyes are trash.
Looks like Notre Dame and Clemson will move up a few spots in the rankings
Gotta face the gauntlet of Tennessee/Vandy/Arkansas though.Farewell Friends wrote:How about Barry Odom's Tigers? Could be playing a bowl game!
