Every single first place vote in every single professional poll, be it the ap, coaches, or college football playoff went to alabama at 1 ahead of Ohio state. How much weight should we lend your voice when there's not an opinion around that shares it?
Oh, of course. Everyone thinks that Alabama is the better team, just like they did 2 years ago.
That doesn't mean that they have the better resume, and it doesn't mean that they wouldn't lose to Ohio State for the 2nd straight time.
just so we're clear your answer is you know better than everyone?

I didn't say I "know" anything.
Again, I'm disputing the notion that everyone is playing for 2nd place, which was the insinuation a few pages ago. I definitely think the other 3 teams can play with Alabama. I thought I had explained that a couple of times.
What we do "know" is that we had a similar situation 2 years ago, and Ohio State won.

No you're not. Well you may be. I don't care. I'm disputing the notion osu with 1 loss has a better resume than alabama with no losses.

Irrelevant. The Cubs won 80 some odd games in 2014 and missed the playoffs, Oregon made the college olayoffs, ole miss beat alabama, it was 2 years ago. Just because it's the same schools doesn't mean it's the same situation.

Yeah, I disagree with that. Even the ones giving Alabama first place votes may not agree with that. They're simply saying that they think Alabama is the better team, not that they have the better resume.

Alabama won it all last year. Ergo they will win it all this year. Think that's all I got to say about that.

Of course we don't know for sure, either way.

You know what "resume" means, right?
I'm not sure what your job is. There may be guys out there with stronger resumes than you (in fact, there surely are). That doesn't mean that they'd be better at the job than you would be.

Actually it probably does.
