Re: 2013-2014 NBA Season
whats sad (annoying) is that when the spurs win it all, ESPN will analyze to death why the heat/lebron lost.
i dont even watch NBA but i know that the spurs are the best team of my generation (i grew up during the pistons/bulls runs).

Love Pop and his snarky interviews. He's like a more likable and more successful TLR.MrSaigon wrote:Pop is such a genius. Who would have thought to have their team shoot 76% in the first half?

Halftime. Tony Parker has not scored a point, and the Spurs are up 7.
Ginobili threw down a dunk on Chris Bosh, and followed it up by swishing a 3-pointer.
It's not over yet, but Lebron & Company have pretty much gotten clowned in this series.

Tony Green hasn't scored. Danny Green hasn't scored. Duncan has a middling 10 points.
Spurs are up 14 midway through the 3rd quarter.

Wade is done. Watching him play is painful. Looks like a great, but short, NBA career.

Who else thinks that James is going to opt out and go elsewhere?

I'm not sure why he wouldn't. There are probably 2 or 3 teams in the West that are better than Miami this year.stlouie_lipp wrote:Who else thinks that James is going to opt out and go elsewhere?

And that would cement his legacy as being a frontrunner little [expletive], IMO.Socnorb11 wrote:I'm not sure why he wouldn't. There are probably 2 or 3 teams in the West that are better than Miami this year.stlouie_lipp wrote:Who else thinks that James is going to opt out and go elsewhere?

Yeah, at this point it's going to be REAL tough for Lebron to rack up the 7 championships that he promised to bring to Miami.
Yeah, they've got 2 with Lebron, but that's only one more than Wade won in Miami without LJ.

This is just silly basketball. All hail a truly legendary team.
