Thanks, you pretty much explained the reason I can't stand them. A little too cute. Or the fact that the only times we watch them is against the Cardinals and they definitely ratchet up the whining a notch or two. Overall though, they aren't bad. Kolten Wong (head) passed a concussion test after suffering a head injury in Tuesday afternoon's contest with the Cubs.
Wong appeared to injure himself making a diving play in the fifth inning. After being lifted in the seventh, he passed the concussion test, though afterward said that he still has a slight headache. The Cubs and Cards are playing a double-header and it's a safe assumption that Wong will sit out the second game here. Matt Carpenter will likely start at second in his place.
