Scott's Tots was probably the worst episode in the history of the office. Stanley's reaction at the beginning was funny, Michael trying to give them laptop batteries and underestimating book costs was funny, but the rest was either uncomfortably awkward, irritating, or both.
It was annoying how Michael not only got let off so easily by all those kids, but also how in the end, he really didn't have to feel bad because the secretary's retarded point of how they have higher gpa's than their classmates means he made a positive impact in their lives. Ridiculous.

Getting let off too easy is the biggest problem with that show. Dwight has been fired? He'll be back in an episode. Michael leaves the company? He'll be back next week. Awkward tension between Jim and Pam? Let's get them together ASAP and make them boring and lame instead. Another man interested in Pam? The audience isn't going to like that. Squash it.

Part of the problem with it is that it's limited to half an hour, and with commercials these days that means 21 minutes or so of actual footage. If it were an hour show it would be a lot better.

And I would agree with other people who say it's format has gotten a little lame; it would be cool if they actually included the guy/girl who was holding the camera the whole time in some episode in some way or another and then afterwards changed the editing style of the show since it was no longer needed. Or even cooler if they revealed it to be one of the members of the Office this entire time, like it was Ryan or somebody 98 percent of the time in the personal interviews.

After seeing the Xmas episode of the Office,
[SHOW]
I was thoroughly entertained but I'm a little annoyed that the "twelve drummers drumming" thing seemed to work for Andy. That kinda display tends to freak people the [expletive] out.

A lot of debate about the formula for the office and why the show has suffered in recent seasons. Seems to me like some good writing and more laughs would solve the problem. For some reason I'm reminded of my Mom who, for my birthdays as a kid, would insists that my presents be opened in a certain order. Problem is, they're either good or bad presents, regardless of the order they're opened. The Office is either good/funny or bad/not funny or somewhere in between, regardless of a lot of the issues mentioned.

Jersey Shore and all the other idiocy make me wonder what is wrong with me. Why am I not amused by humanity at its nadir? Why did Jackass wear thin on me after the first 15 minutes? Why is watching Jerry Springer so painful?

Flight of the Conchords is officially over. It was up in the air whether there would ever be a third season, but they ruled it out this week on their official website.

Probably a good thing. On the other hand, a movie is said to be possible. I think I'd be more interested in seeing them on the big screen as characters other than The Conchords. I thought Jemaine was pretty great in Eagle vs Shark. I do think they'd be quite popular touring as The Conchords, however.

I admit that I liked the first season of Glee. I'm a musical guy, so it appealed to me. Some talented people on that show.
