I just had one of those. Have to admit, not a fan. "Too much" is how I would describe it.

I agree. I actually liked it, but it was really too complex. Trying to hit too many notes in an attempt to make the perfect aficionado beer.

The average-ish reviews from thrill and Popeye aside, it looks great.

It is probably best suited for those who like really strong bitterness from roast. I.e., the same taste as really strong coffee or espresso. I like my coffee a bit more on the weak side, and my black beers a bit smoother.

Plus my stomach kinda hurt while drinking it from some earlier sushi. So that may have had an effect.

It was pretty hyped up to me before I tried and that may have contributed to my skepticism.
