I bet.GeddyWrox wrote:She got her pins out about a week-and-a-half ago. Cast off in about another 10 days. Will still need to take it slow for a while after that, but she'll be able to get around a lot better at least. She's been a trooper, but she is going stir crazy!
I told her to expect to have to walk like me when she gets older - with all the cracks a pops, I have my own soundtrack everywhere I go.stlouie_lipp wrote:As someone who broke his ankle twice in my teens (thanks football!), and again this past summer, you might as well tell your little ones about the arthritis they will be experiencing as they age. No need to sugar coat things.
Sure hope that doesn't happen. My 10 year old is already 5' 4", I think that is how she hurt the ankle, she looks like a baby giraffe when she is walking sometimes...GeddyWrox wrote:Because the bone snapped off the growth plate, we're a little worried that she'll be done growing. The docs said there was a slight risk of this, but we won't know until she's done healing. She's already 5'1", but she's worried about that. Poor kid.
Golly. Congrats Fat!Fat_Bulldog wrote:My second daughter will be born in a few hours!
