For those of you who are posting YouTube videos, I don't have speakers here at work, and I can't read lips (pigs or politicians), so it's a little frustrating for me

My work completely filters youtube video's, so all I get is a blank post, which might be a good thing in this thread...Socnorb11 wrote:For those of you who are posting YouTube videos, I don't have speakers here at work, and I can't read lips (pigs or politicians), so it's a little frustrating for me.

Why do you like reading so much into what I post, but you only take some things at face value...like Meghan's comments. Oh, it's because you're so bent on finding anything negative said about Liberals and making some big deal about it. Fun times, I guess.Socnorb11 wrote:BW23 wrote:
I showed the quote from the transcript where he talked about his middle name. It was very clear what he was talking about. I don't claim to know who told him what. I just claim to know what he said and that he obviously doesn't say it now.
And I'm sure you didn't watch any of the interview with Meghan before quoting some left-wing blog. Am I reading into her meaning? Sure. Because I watched it. Just like I watched Obama's comment about Palin. Am I reading into that, too? Yep. It was a very scripted moment that he almost screwed up...something he's good at these days.
Again, I'm taking umbrage with a guy that thinks his middle name will help the world's view of the U.S.
Your taking umbrage with a kid. Good luck with that.
How can you be so sure that his middle name won't change the world's view of us?
And yeah, you did claim to know who told him to stop saying it.
And it's pretty sad that a guy who "screws up" so regularly has come out of nowhere to put himself into a position of "probably" being the next president. Yeah, I'd definitely say he's dropped the ball.
I didn't claim to know who told Obama to stop. I know what he said was a good, in his opinion. I know he stopped. Why? Maybe it's because Americans, you know, the people that have to vote him in, don't see it as good. Look at how people responded to me when I used it. Obama thought it was good. He stopped. I'd say someone got to him.
I also didn't say he screws up regularly. I said he's doing so lately. Read clearer, please. He completely screwed up this weekend when he talked about his Muslim beliefs. That was a scripted thing he was so prepared to say, and he couldn't get it out right. Just like with the pig comment. One comment was over the weekend. One was Tuesday.
That constitutes regularly, IMO.

I'm going to stay out of the Meghan McCain thing other than to say she's not a kid. She's 24 years old and has a degree from Columbia. She's at least five years older than people fighting and dying in Iraq right now.

But I do find it odd that so many people are offended by it when he wants it embraced.
Well, until someone smarter than him told him it wasn't a good idea. It wasn't Republican bloggers or talk show hosts that started using it. It was him. And that cracks me up.
Who told him to stop? Or maybe he HASN'T stopped? Maybe you're just not digging deep enough. You're making an awful lot of assumptions here.

As this thread progresses more and more its turning out exactly how I thought it would. Just a bunch of people arguing.
