I have a backlog of unopened games - last Assassin's Creed, No Man's Sky, Fallout 4 (opened, but haven't gotten back in after about 15 hours), Uncharted 4... I keep diving back into Destiny.

Still need to finish Witcher 3 as well... I just love that dopamine hit when I get new gear/level-up in Destiny.

I miss Goldeneye 007. I might have to go in search of an N64 and that game this weekend.

did you go thru the credit process?

the game (doom) arrived yesterday in the mail. took probably an hour or so to install from the disc and all the other "updates" the game needs right out from the case*. i really enjoy it though granted it was about 90 mins of playing. the soundtrack is terrifc, those heavy metal tracks work so well with the series. the game is super fast, super gory and super fun. i like the challenges, the secrets, the upgrades you can get. and i came across one of the original map secrets. that was fun. a nice throwback to the original. dont know what else to say but if you enjoyed those original doom titles, you'll probably like this one too.

*side rant: this is something modern games absolutely blow at now. you can't simply pop the game into the console and just start playing. nope. there's all this extra crap that has to happen. so when you get a game you now instantly know you won't play it right when you get home. no no no. you'll be installing and updating for X amount of time before you even get close to actually playing. something the NES and its brethren will always have over newer consoles.

I have found the motherload ladies and gentlemen--my WORKING original NES and about 30 games (and a game genie).

Unfortunately, the bigger classics like zelda, metroid, techmo bowl and contra weren't part of the unearthed treasure, but hey, beggars cant be choosers.
