Did any of you guys try the Battlefield 1 beta over the weekend? Man that's a pretty game.

With the pro, sony highlighted you can play 4k games and watch 4k movies streaming but they neglected to add a UDH blu-ray drive in the thing. Kind of a weird choice. Even the upgraded xbox one s has a UHD drive.

see...another reason to be wary of these newer, mid-gen consoles...

http://kotaku.com/when-asked-if-ps4-pro ... 1786426018

it's since been updated to say:
Sony says they won’t ask users to pay for patches on the PlayStation 4 Pro, despite some vague comments made by an executive this morning. “We will not charge consumers for patches,” a Sony representative said in an e-mail to Kotaku today.
before this statement a sony spokesman said you might have to pay on dlc patches for graphical upgrades from some game companies...i dont care if they updated it...im very wary.

i enjoy this guys perspective, boogie2988. seems like the big reason for the new console is for VR reasons

I'm pretty weary of these upgrades too. If I wanted to go that route I'd be a PC gamer.

In other news I just watched a video from a guy who calls himself Boogie2988 about video games. Who would have ever seen that coming 20 years ago?

I think if we could go back to the beginning of the internet and remove the thing that would eventually allow Youtube celebrities, videos of unboxings, and the like, that would be a positive for the world. Maybe it's an age thing. Every time I see someone annoyed that their expensive console hasn't got X or Y feature, I do think they ought to get their priorities a little bit in order.

Saying that, "Saints Row" is the best game series ever and if you disagree, I will fight you IRL
